As a founding member of The Advisory Group, and Registered Representative with FSC Securities Corporation, Greg Schill provides investment advice for clients, specializing in the areas of investment planning and pensions.

Mr. Schill specializes in two areas of financial and investment management:

Individual Planning and Investment Management: He and his staff provide financial planning and investment management services for high net worth individuals (minimum net worth and investment asset requirements apply).

Qualified Plans: He, along with The Advisory Group professional staff, provide 401(k)/qualified plan reviews, platform vendor search services, and investment advisory/fiduciary management services. Greg is the firm’s primary manager of corporate pension services.

Mr. Schill has been a student of the financial markets for 30 years. He and the firm’s staff perform extensive, ongoing research on securities, specialized money managers, mutual funds, and new academic studies related to investing. The group regularly uses research materials and software from Standard & Poor’s; Ibbotson & Associates, Thomson Financial and Morningstar, Inc.

Mr. Schill is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. Degrees include an MBA from the University of Texas and a BS in Business Administration from Clarion University of Pennsylvania where he graduated Cum Laude. Mr. Schill is also a member of the Financial Services Institute and the Financial Planning Association.

Before entering the investment services field, Mr. Schill was a corporate finance professional. He held the positions of Senior Financial Analyst for Western US Operations and then Finance Manager, Southern California, for Wang Laboratories, Inc. As Finance Manager, he was responsible for all financial analysis and administration for the sales, service and software support organizations. Prior to that he was Manager of Corporate Planning and Analysis for Philips Information Systems, Inc. a $50 million subsidiary of Philips N.V., a Fortune 50 multinational company. Mr. Schill began his career with Burroughs Corporation as a Financial Analyst in their southwest region.

Mr. Schill serves the community in various capacities. He was a past board member of both the Santa Monica Jaycees and the Santa Monica Kiwanis Club. He is a member of the Manhattan Beach Kiwanis Club and was their 2006-2007 President. He has been involved with other charitable organizations over the years such as City of Hope (Professions and Finance Associates) and the Fathers Day Council of Los Angeles.
